R. L. LEWIS, Superintendent Billy Jo Crittendon Mr. Russell Lewis has served as Superin- tendent of Schools as Rush Springs for the past eight years. During this time, under the di- rection of Mr. Lewis, Rush Springs Schools have enjoyed a most prosperous growth both in school plant facilities and classroom techniques Mr. Lewis received his B. S. Degree from Central State College, Edmond, Okla. He re- ceived his Masters Degree from Okla. Univer- sity. He spent nineteen years in the Hollister, Okla. Public Schools, eleven as Superintend- ent, before coming to Rush Springs. We of the annual staff, on behalf of the entire student body, would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Mr. Lewis for the excellent leadership he has pro- vided while being both Superintendent, teacher and friend to all of us. I. B. Coffee Billy Jo Crittendon who is president of the board of education, is shown here at a win- dow of the bank where he serves as assistant Cashier. He is com- pleting his fourth year as a member of the School Board. I. B. Coffee, Vice-President of the board, owns and operates a farm and cattle ranch in the district. He has been a member of the board for six years. 4 Nita Jones has served Rush Springs School as School Secretary for the past Two years. In this capacity, she is in charge of the school payroll, and also does some clerical work for all of the school administrators. MRS. NITA JONES, Secretary Tom Cotham Woodrow Meek O. W. Harrison Tom Cotham, Clerk of the board is serving his 4th year as a member. He has maintained a home in Rush Springs for several years while being employed at Haliburtons in Duncan.
