Looking back C- 443 we discover a bond with the Knight, for we too have feasted at Kings Round Table. Here, we have enjoyed the essential food of knowledge spiced with the experiences of opportunities in service, sport, and studies. We have nibbled on the sweet fruits of friendship and have plucked the bitter grapes of disapf pointment as well as the sweet Concords of success. Une day we shall be invested with Knighthood, dubbed not by a cold, hard sword, but instead by a warm, friendly hand' shake. Clad in the armor of confidence and secure with a diploma as a shield, we will strive relentlessly, vaulting all obstacles, confronting any challenges: we will fulfill our pledges of service and honor. g at X X 5 s X33 , X A s XX XX fx s at ., X t 5 'lc xgsQPQPQiXxxx ga H Gig A jg Q x gg ii 3 XT X Q ' XG ' ' bw i S X if to 3 it ses c . 4 DJQ4 QQ C3003 QMDQ Umm T -1 Qtigfuimc Tl CONTENTS i,gC,,,As,sr T Faculty ............ 8 3836 Pr JanunrY Graduates . . 18 SJ 'E A is O Sports . . . . 28 ji ig-J Homerooms . . . . 48 Ab xXm Activities . . . . 78 X 1 June Graduates ..... . . 98 f LJ- '- wif ffk, - A , ' x.ff k 'mf llf f' MJT ..,--5J. i4,,w4jg4-RZ!,h, , ,firm-1 kg , ,7,', ,J 'N ' - . p 'fnlxh -ffl ,748 --2, i avid- Tiinetglthi lf' V .f-Lf r. .+V N .j , 1' 5 I wpvb 2' fl vt- ' ' , --ML -, Ly! -. 11.12 .s ff ' Jlllf xwl. f N YQ! BRAUER Principal Our world is ahout to witness ever fuller development in technology and still more rapid changes. The differential hetween technology and human ahility to work out adjustments will become all the more acute. To help meet the challenge it would he well for all to keep two thoughts in mind. First, it is not enough to have knowledge and he able to think right, we must, also, possess a certain hreadth of feeling and sympathy. We need to try to understand human destiny and the purposes of life as well as to know facts and reason well. Secondly, keep in mind that no individual is genuinely and lastingly happy unless he has something hcyond himself to care ahout and work for. In serving others, he it individuals, groups, or causes, come self' realization as indicated hy Frank Crane when he said, Your sole contrihution to the sum of things is yourself. if 10 MR. A. W.
