Over the loudspeaker system today we heard President Roosevelt ask Congress to de- clare war on the Axis, and did they do it in a hurry! Dear talking stamps jumped Diary4Everyone at school is about the war. The sale of and bonds here at King has almost overnight. The defense stamp posters attract a lot of atten- tion, too.
