NOVEMBER - 1941 Dear Diary-We had a football game, and as usual, Pete and I went, and yelled so much we threw our voices out of whack. Here's a snap of some King girls doing it too. Dear Diary - Tonight was King's first conference basketball game. We played Marquette - and won. Dear Diary-Everybodyeame to school loaded down with good things to eat for the Thanksgiving baskets. I brought pumpkin, and Pete brought Cranberries. NOYEBIBER - 1941 Dear Diary'-This month is getting OH to a flying start-King played a game of soccer against Custer. at Cus- ter's stamping grounds, and the score was 3-2. our favor! Dear Diary-Today being Armistice Day. we had our annual program in the gym. It was so impressive that l almost cried: even fun-loving Pete was very thoughtful. Dear Diary-Pete called for me at 7:00 tonight. and we went to Open House. lt seemed odd to see parents and kids. instead of just kids.
