SEPTEMBER - 1941 Dear Diary-Today we all went out to the stadium and had a big pep rally. We yelled and hollered and practiced songs for the first of the season's games this Friday night. Dear Diary-Oh, what fun! Pete and I were so happy ,cause we beat Marquette tonight by a score of 8-0. Dear Diary-How time flies-just think, one month of the semester is almost oVe1'. SEPTEMBER - 1941 Dear Diary v- Today Pete and I, and Pete's trusty camera Went out to Watch football practice-and when the boys Weren't looking-Pete snapped them- he got one too of Coaches Hanks and Wolf, with Jimmy Sixty, Golly, they looked so intense! Dear Diary-Today it rained like everything and Pete and I turned our reversihles. I het it would have been loads of fun to slosh about in the sta- dium, like Jim Berry and Ray Guenther were doing. Dear Diary-Hooray! Two Whole days of vacation for the American Le- gion convention! The Legionnaires are having fun, and so are We. Dear Diary-The library here is a wonderful place to look up something, as anyone can guess from seeing this picture.
