'fg- E f as ff, 'v MEMORIES B gy-x x ' Q I Now that we are seniors we are able to look over the past years fond rembrance of all the events that we have shared together Our first look at high school life came to us in the seventh grade We were frightened and no one seemed to know just where to go But soon we became accustomed to the routine and settled down to study Nothing of importance happened in the eighth grade Then came the freshman year and we were really worried about initation Why did we have to wear those silly clothes? Initation wasn't as bad as we ex pected and therefore we let our minds wander on about our next year But ve soon quit dreaming for we were shocked by the news that tnere would be no senior trip for us We had worked hard and we had a good stint in our treasury But the school board announced, 'No money making activities allowed n With only two years of school left we entered our glorious Junior year This year was to be one of our greatest The first event was ordering our class rings We were shown several different kinds but the majority had settled on the raised centers so that's what we ordered We then went on to planning our Annual Christmas Dance The community hall was very well decorated with a large tree all lit up ln the middle of the floor Following the Christmas Dance we were able to relax for just a short while, because soqn we would have to start planning our went very smoothly The hall was decorated with blue and white streamers, and we had put up a full false ceiling Everyone attending the Prom had a wonderful time The Prom was the last event of our junior year This fall we came back feeling very proud to be called seniors We all felt that this was going to he our big year First on the long list of events was to get our annual started, after this was taken care of we had our pictures taken and everyone anxiously awaited there ar rival We have sold refreshments at our home basketball games, received our memory books, and chosen the colors for our caps and gowns, and our motto has also been chosen At present we are all waiting for grad uation and the time when we will step into this wide, wonderful world in I . as , fi , 'Ei - H ig Prom.
