On September 3rd, l957 the Freshman class, all fifty eight of us, began what we hope will be four happy years in high school. we were too much for one teacher so we were divided into two groups. we have stu- dents from Prevort, Trout Lake and Kinross Air Force Base added to last years eighth graders. The Seniors welcomed us, by giving us a nice reception, and the Sophmores initiated us in October. We had dreaded this for weeks, but it really was a lot of fun. we have students from our class in Band, Chorus, Basketball and four of our girls are HBH Team Cheerleaders. It took a while for us to get adjusted. Mr. and Mrs. Myers are our class advisors. Science is exchanged for history, we find this very interesting.. Our classroom, which is in the basement, is advised by Vrs. Jenkins who is doing a successful iob. Our class has had two narties Vallowoen and Christmas. Wverrore had a wonderful time. Fext year we are looking forward to the ninth grade, but not initiation.
