DEAR MEMBERS OF THE FACULTY: As each of us leaves the school this June, we will experience many different feelings, but our overwhelming sentiment will be one of gratitude to those who have made us aware of the vast frontiers which have yet to be explored, and who have awakened in us the desire to learn for the sake of knowledge alone. Those of us who have come through the elementary school remember a time when a Steiner High School was nothing but a dream, when the eighth grade was the pinnacle of all achievements, and when Mr. Harrer was the biggest, strongest, most important man in the whole world. None of us will forget the sudden inspiration that might have gripped us during a high school language, history, math or art class, nor will we forget Mr. Pratt's gentle guidance. But above all, we are grateful for the devotion, regardless of how trying the times might have been, to the idea that there was something good and worthwhile in each of us, which brought to the surface. More than anything else, this faith has enabled us to develop into what we are today. It is difficult to realize that our years at Steiner have come to an end. They have been full and edifying years, and we have enjoyed them.
