SUHUR BLESS Hi WW In the fall of l9uh boy by the name of Jlm Frevert started out ln the flrst grade ny March, Corrlne decided to increase the class to two and Jolned When third grade rol led around, Bud, John, Ray, nd Marv found tmey hadtaken a llklng to the teacher, or the teacher had t ken a liking to them At any rate they stayed 1 Also ln third, Dave, Kathy, and Ron came 1n from the country schools tr make nlne of our present class It was durlng this year that Bud was havlng terrible dlfflculty with h1s nave's an they's, but one trlpdownstalrs ctred t1lS We also recall that Jlm acouired some tlny gold rlmmed glasses t1at get smaller and smaller each ye r untll he f1n ally g ve them up in seventh grade One day someone's klte got loose and lodged in the tree top Marv took it upon hlmself to get it out, but wnen he flnallj got to the top, he h ppened to peek thro gh the leaves and see M1SS Waterhouse coming He came down in a hurry' In fourth gr de Jlm and Ray Just couldn't seem to be trey arrlved and were to explaln, Jim came out w1th, I am stpposed to br1n Ray up here On spinach ays, you usually could see culte a bunch of llds slttlng in thelr seats trylng to get out of eating it On this day the teach r lHfOFmSe tne class they had to eat every blt of lt Kathy took a blte a tmen nonchantly threw p The class was d1SmlSS6d' Corr1ne's great day came when 1n slxth grade she f1n lly got to dlscard her long sox that she'd lways nad to wear J1m declded he should take uo the nrogect of eatlng a w1ole ruler It wasn't long before it dlsaaoeared, but if you glanced around you could usually see chewed wood all around n1s desk when Marv broke his arm Q8 sald he fell off a post Sure you weren't CHaS1HE g1PlS, Marv? When romances were bloomlng in si th grade, somehow one of Sonnyfs notes got captured before lt got back to Kathy So Sonny had to get up ln front of tne class and tell his plans to take her for a rlde on a moonlit nlgnt Just as scam as he was lo Youfd never believe lt, but while readlng a reoort one day, J1m toppled over and falnted When Johnny was llttle and lnnocent, he was belng sent over to the high school to be punished Instead he hld in the tramway and then in a few minutes he returned to class wlth nobody wiseto him.
