L3 1 F-NN 0:3 E- xx Budd Pangers finished the fall baseball season ith a record of 3 wins and 2 losses They 'ere eliminated from tournament play in beat the Rangers 3-0 on a no-hit chore by the Floyd pitcher The Rangers had vallooed them a week previously 18-8 The top game for thrills was probably the one rith St Joe, St Joe topned the Rangers 2 1 as they scored the winning run in the seventh ith the b sses loaded and a three-two count on him, a St Joe batter fouled off 6 or 8 pitches before he finally drew a walk to force in the winning run In the batting department Kleckner led the hitters with a U17 average followed by jhil1pp's Moo and Lackore's 333 Philipp collected the most hits 6 while Doyle leuton scored the most runs-6, and collected the most walks 9 Bernstein and Kleekner each batted in 6 runs Kleckner did most of the nitching, and in 32 innings he struck out U3 and had an earned run average of l 53 SEASOn'S WECORD RUDD nARBLE ROCK UDD ST JOE RUDD MARBLE ROCK RUDD LLOYD RUDD FLOYD Eff-XSEQAUH Spring baseball started our in a strong fashion but ended ab- runtly in the first round of the sectional tournament The Rangers von their Iirst t o games, trinning Marble Rock 5-0 and vholloning nora Springs 16-O. The next game Kleckner pitched a no-hitter against Mason City, but the hohavks squeezed by 1-o as a man got on with a walk and stole home for the only run. Rudd von their next game from Rockford 3-2 but the Rangers committed their first errors of the season after 19 innings of errorless ball. In the first inning of the game in the tournament with Rockford, the Rangers couldn't do anything right. They committed six errors, which led to Rockford's eight runs.
