Most seniors found rhor preparing for college was very rime consuming. Many srorred ro meer rhe rough requirements during rheir fresh- men year. College prep courses were only rhe first step ro college. The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test was tol- en by many seniors during their junior year, while the Scholastic Aptitude Test was taken during their senior year. The SAT was taken by seniors for entrance into college. When possible, seniors visited college campuses or listened to college representatives speak in the career center. When a senior finally decided to attend col- lege, there were numerous opplications ro be completed. They hod to opply to the college of their choice, for housing facilities if desired, and for the many scholarships ond financial aid pro- grams available. Most seniors felt that college was necessary to further their educotion, for better jobs, and to survive the tough requirements of the world. College is a way of expanding on education. I realize I should hove token college prep classes. Now I hove to take extro dosses when I start college, replied Scott Golvin. H 1 Seniors anxiously await the end of their government class. 2.
