The Quest for Jobs Continues . .elp wonred. When a sign beoring ihese words appeared in rhe window of a nearby shop or fast food resrouronr, ir wosn ' r rhere long wirh everyone in search of a job. Some job hunrers were faced wirh rhe rosk of searching for one rhor wosn ' r rhere, or purring up wirh pressure from rheir porenrs. Unem- ployed srudenrs spenr rheir spore rime in seorch of work. When rhe big problem of finding a job was over, mosr were faced wirh a new ser of problems. Wirh school in rhe morning, and work in rhe ofrernoon or evening, rhere was lirrlr ... ir ' s really nice when rhe poy- checK comes ... rime for homework or friends. They soon learned how ro handle responsibiliry and pres- sure. Orher problems included gerring ro work on rime ond odjusring ro a new schedule. Mosr were able ro juggle rheir rime prerry well, allow- ing rhem ro work, go ro school, srudy, ond ' ofren fir in for socializing wirh friends.
