ACTIVITIES ORGANIZATIONS Porriciporion Greatly Enhances Campus Involvemenr, porriciporion, and inrerocrion. Mosr srudenrs learned, soon ofrer school began, rhor becoming involved in a club or schoicsric evenr could greorly enhance campus life. Srudenrs hove a very wide voriery ro choose from. The clubs and orgonizorions ranged from school supporrive groups ro special inreresr and culrural groups. I chose ro join Spirir Club be- cause I om proud of my school, and like ro supporr ir, revealed one Spirir Club member. When Foorboll Homecoming come around, clubs were srrengrhened by compering ogoinsr orher dub cars and floors. Our Yeorbook Club cor was very unique and I enjoyed moking ir, giggled Mary Roper. To heighten rhe exciremenr of rhese major ... I am proud of my school, and like ro supporr ir . . . evenrs rhe srudenr body crowned queens. Ir was rhe dream of many girls ro receive rhis honor yer rhe dream come rrue for only a few. Misfi Dawson srored, I was very honored ro be chosen as rhe 1982 Daskerball Homecoming Queen. Ir helped make my senior year memor- oble. Club Week broughr each dub and organiza- rion on campus rhe opporruniry ro raise needed funds. The quad wos filled with q carnival like ormosphere as srudenrs enjoyed rhemselves while supporring rheir fovorire cause. Mosr srudenrs were hoppy wirh rhe acriviries and organizarions sysrem.
