Many juniors worked diligenrly for long hours inro rhe nighr for rwo srroighr weeks; devoring oil rheir spore rime ro help make rhe myrhical Greor Pumpkin become reoliry. There was more ro- gerherness rhis year rhon losr year, and every- one hod more spirir ro win, expressed Jamie Freeman. Even rhough rhe Junior Floor won firsr ploce, rhe Juniors, like everyone else, hod problems consrrucring rheir floor. One of rhe biggesr prob- lems was rrying ro pur flowers on rhe borrom of rhe floor. Some juniors hod ro srond inside rhe floor and reoch over o lor of chicken wire ro pur rhe flowers on. Anorher problem wos when rhe floor was near complerion and rhe juniors ran our of flowers. Many Juniors hurriedly mode flowers, so rhe floor could be finished. | 1. Ir also reoches rhem obour themselves ond orhers. Ms. Weaver, o former teacher of FCI srored, I think it is definire- ly needed. Family Life teaches srudenrs ro have o posirive self image of rhemselves and orhers. Since rhere ore o greor number of reenage pregnoncies, Family Life addresses rhe problem ond how ro deal wirh it.
