Five Hundred Books Collected By Jomes I If you re serious obour collecring comic books, you berrer expect ro spend o lor of money, srored James McDoniel. He spends in the neighborhood of 10 dollors o month on his hob- bie. A great deal of his time is occupied by rummaging through used book stores, trying to find the best deals. I ' ve been sovinq them for five years and I now hove approximately 500 comic books A couple of his favorites ore Avenger end X-Mon. To keep the comics in mint condition, James keeps rhem tightly sealed in plastic bags in a cupboard. I feel that they ore a good investment ond should be well token core of when handled. His parents support him with his hobble; they think that it is o good woy of saving money.
