Mosr re membered rhe firsr place winning of rheir floor The Greor Pumpkin or rhe foorboll home- coming gome. Another highlighr of rhe yeor was rhe Junior Senior Prom. Wirh high hopes rhor rhe prom would be o success and moke rhe seniors hop- py, council members spenr several weeks of looking and planning for a place ro hold rhe prom. The council lisrened ro many songs be- fore deciding on rhe rheme song from rhe mov- ie Arrhur, Desr Thar You Con Do, for rhe Prom rheme. One final evenr rhe Junior council members ond orher juniors remembered was spending each home foorboll gome moking coffee, hor chocolore, hor dogs, and selling popcorn and candy, I had o lor of fun rhe firsr gome working rhe concession srond bur afrer rwo or rhree more gomes I decided I wouldn ' t like ro do ir oil rhe rime, remorked Renee Williams. H 1. Sandra Campbell and Dee Miner smile because they ' re a part of the doss of 80. 2. Kris Fluhrer diligent- ly takes the minutes for a junior doss meeting as Mar- sha Johnson looks on. 3. The mythical Grear Pumpkin which took first place for the Junior class during the football homecoming gome. 4. In rhe firsr line people received proper infor- morion end filled our necessary forms. When rhey were rhrough, o pass was issued and off ro line rwo. This line wos by for rhe longest end ir was for ID cords and pictures for rhe yearbook. After their pictures were token they raced to rhe gym where many teochers were smorh- ered with over anxious students whojusr hod to get into rheir dosses. If by chance the doss was full you could find many juniors seared on the floor searching frantically for o way to moke rheir schedule work out. With rhe population of Rubidoux High growing many classes were full and students would hove to wait till next year to get rhar doss. As rhey filed out of rhe gym they were again greeted by o mob of people dimbing over one another to get their bus passes, parking srickers and free lunch cords. It was bad situation, but the juniors or P.ubi- doux High School made rhe best of it by remi- niscing about their summer vocation ond the good times they shared with their friends. | 1.
