The council lisrened ro many songs be- fore deciding on rhe rheme song from rhe mov- ie Arrhur, Desr Thar You Con Do, for rhe Prom rheme. Derh sings or rhe Riverside Chrisrion Cenrer, does church solos, and per forms OS o P,H5 madrigal. Derh srorred singing in rhe fourrh grade ond has been lifring her voice ever since. Musical rolenr musr run in rhe Diehl family. Derh ' s forher, Dill Diehl, was o member of a 1940 ' s dance band. When Derh isn ' r busy earning money for her singing lessons, she occupies herself by playing rhe base cloriner. Derh plans on going ro Dible College and majoring in music.
