Highlighting the season's record was a fifth place win in Muncie Sectional meet. Team members who placed in the section- al were Ed Leicht, iunior, 103 pound class, third place, Ogal Claspell, senior, 145 pound class, fourth place, Howard Estep, senior, 165 pound class, fourth place, and Charles Hillman, junior, 175 pound class, fourth place.
