acuity MR. RICHARD JOLLIFFE MRS. VIRGINIA KIRK MR. WILLIAM MILLER Mr. Jolliffe, our new band director, immediately proved himself this year a very capable gentleman for the job. Those who saw some of the band's performances will undoubtedly agree. Mrs. Kirk, of course, did her usual fine job of tutoring the grade youngsters in the fine art of singing . . . Mr. William Miller, Royerton's new social science teacher, had a chance to become acquainted very quickly, teaching the junior high students as well as the sophomores and juniors . . . Back at her post as librarian and art instructor was Miss Veva McC0skey. She also taught one freshman English class . . . In the picture on the right below are shown Royerton's science and mathematics teachers, Mr. Newton and Mr. Darrell Miller. These gentlemen are responsible for the advanced subjects, such as chemistry, physics, plane geometry, alegbra, and trigonometry. MISS VEVA MCCOSKEY MR. MARCUS NEWTON MR. DARRELL MILLER

deadly MR. JOHN STEBBINS MR. HERSCHEL BROWN Mr. Stebbins undoubtedly found his days slightly monotonous sometimes this year because of the fact that his biology students were divided into three groups. However, he found adequate diversion during his assmbly periods . . . Mr. Brown found himself quite busy this year. His duties as head of the physical training depart- ment coupled with those as Sponsor of the junior class left him with little spare time . . . ln the picture on the left below are the two ladies at Royerton who help to get the students' tongues twisted and then attempt to untwist them. In other Words, they are the foreign language teachers, Mrs. Dupouy and Mrs. Lambert. Mrs. Dupouy's Latin classes and Mrs. Lambert's Spanish classes were substantially larger this year than those of previous years . . . Mrs. Hughes again enjoyed the pleasure of instructing America's future homemakers in her home economics classes. Mr. Glancy likewise enjoyed his job as instructor of those conscientious students of agriculture, the future farmers of America. MRS. SUZANNE DuPOUY MRS. MARI LOU LAMBERT MR. FRED F. GLANCY, JR. MRS. E3 L aocdzfg R 1 ' 3 27 MRS. LAVENNA PUTNA Z MRS. DOROTHY MILLEF K MR. LAURENCE PHILLII 'I Mrs. Putnam continued this year as the school's bookkeeper. Mrs. Miller, the school treasurer, probably handled more money this year than most of us could earn in four or five years . . . Our hats go off to Mr. Phillips, our faculty advisor. This man has more headaches than a professional wrestler. In addition to his duties as faculty advisor to the Review and Panorama staffs, he also teaches sophomore and junior English and bookkeeping . . . Something new has been added, in the form of Mr. Hollibaugh, who is taking Mr. Locke's place .... Mrs. Cline has come to love the sound of a certain machine, the typewritter. At least, she should have. She teaches four typing classes a day. In addition, she has an office practice class and a shorthand class . . . Mrs. Walker has developed some first rate speakers and debaters in the last couple of years. For proof of this see page 72 . . . MR. JAMES HOLLLBAUGH MRS. ANNA LOUISE CLINE MRS. HELENE WALKER
