J UN IOR IUNIOR LOG Iuniors of today, seniors of tomorrow. We will fill the place of our graduating seniors in the fall of '49. This will be a big job and one for which we must be prepared. One of the best ways to become familiar with our class is to meet those people who have been our leaders throughout the school year. These officers were elected in the fall ot '48. They are Iohn Dull, president, Don Fyfe, vice-president, lohn Pickell, secretary, and George Buschor, treasurer. They have done an efficient job in shouldering our respon- sibilities. The highlights ot our school year were the junior carnival and the junior play. We spent many long but interesting hours on these productions. Our activities were under the direction of our class sponsors, Mr, Stebbins and Miss McCoskey. To them, we are indeed grateful for their patience, guidance, and for the ex- cellent job they have done. We sincerely hope that the class oi '50 will be one, long remembered. We are already looking forward with anticipation to next year which holds so many interesting experiences in store for us. The junior class of R. H. S. has one more year of learning and living together. Let us hope that we can make it the best yet. CLASS OFFICERS First Row-Iackie Decker. SOPHOMORE SOPHOMORE LOG Our sophomore class consists of seventy members -not so large a class as the freshmen but a class with plenty ol potentialities. Aft the beginning of the school year, we elected the following class officers-to direct our activities: Ioe Upchurch, president, Norma Cary, vice-president, Ioyce Reagan, secretary, and Ruth Beaty, treasurer. The highlights of our school year seem to be cen- tered around our sophomore skating party and various Christmas activities. However, basketball, football, and other activities have had their place in our school year. We are looking forward with much excitement to our junior year which is just around the corner. We are hoping the rest of our school days will follow somewhat the same pattern as that laid before us which includes such activities as plays, the junior carnival, and senior trip. V We have welcomed several new members into our class this year. They are Ioyce Reagan, lack Clevenger, Iohn Towriss, Iames Burcaw, and William McGee. We are very grateful to our class sponsors, Mr. Bixler and Mrs. Marcus, lor the excellent job they have done in directing our class activities. We are looking forward to the rest of our high school days and expect to take an active part in the future. 1 L '- A , www , 1 ,.
