Right and left PRI NCIPALS IDA M. HOFERT, Principal ot Gosport Building: CHARLES H. PORTER, Assistant to the Principalj EVA M. SHOCKLEY, Elementary Supervisory F. EDWARD THOMSON, Supervising Principal FACULTY As the dance begins, Callers step to the front to direct the Sets. Similarly, teachers in RHCS step to the front to direct students by giving personal attention and guidance to every pupil from Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. To discuss problems concerning the entire school system, the faculty members formed a teachers' organization. The 1952-1953 officers were Helen lXlcKinney, presidentg Virginia Watt, vice-president, Catherine Campbell, secretaryg and Patricia Dodge, treasurer. Members of the group attended conferences to discuss improve- ments for our school. The first of these, the Zone Conference, was held in Buffalo in October. The year couldn't he all work, however, so the organization planned several social events for recreation. First, there was a Smorgasbord and then the annual Christmas party. To bring to an end another successful year, the faculty attended the Spring Banquet. The teachers also supported wholeheartedly the Red Cross and CARE Drives and the March of Dimes. When the music fades and the dancers leave the floor, they naturally recall the activities of the Caller. In the same manner, RHCS students recall the interest their teachers have taken in themg and just as the dancers applaud the Caller's leader- ship, so the students show appreciation for the assistance, guidance, and counsel given them by the members of the faculty. -Janice Caleb and Lois Dorwald
