Homecoming i The 1976 Homecoming was cap- tured in a whirl of excitement. The events began Thursday with a snake dance led by the cheerleaders. At the annual Pep Fest, the classes presented their skitsg the seniors and the sopho- mores tied for first, freshmen took third. King Rick Gruen crowned his queen, Linda Budde. After the coro- nation, the King and Queen led the way out to the traditional bonfire. The Homecoming Parade featured the court and class floats. The seniors took first with We-'re Alaskan for a Victory g FFA seconded with We're Rootin' for Ewe, no Bulllvg freshmen placed third with, We'll blast the Tigers. Friday night was the climax of this year's events. The Mighty Panthers defeated Hillsboro, 14-O. The game was followed by a Victory Dance with music by Bitter Sweet. Homecom- ing was over for another year. ts ta.
