M. Woodbury, Mrs. Baker, and J. Collins do a dance act. The Teachers did their thing at the concert also. Many people came to hear the talented musi- cians of Royal Valley High School at the annual spring concert held May 11, 1982. Both instru- mental and vocal groups performed. Several indi- viduals were featured as vocal soloists, many of whom were seniors giving farewell performances. The band entertained with a variety of skits including an “elephant” and a beautiful (?) young tango dancer. Outstanding senior musicians from both the band and Soundsations were honored. Those were John Hood, Sheila Knaub, Terri Woodbury and Nancy Zachariasen. “All performances went very well,” commented Terri Woodbury. Hi-Lights sing “Big Spender” with volunteers from audience. The Hi-Lights reach for the stars. 19
