Phillips, Last September, for the first time this year and the first time in his career, Mr. Nakatsu said, Gentlemen, Ketchum Hall. Walking across the football, baseball, and soccer field and sometimes swimming pool or hockey rink that day, we lamented the passing of summer, prodded the new arrivals, and laughed about the previous year's best moments. Spilling out of Ketchum Hall's green doors and rumbling down the worn metal slats of its fire escape stairs at the end of the year, we were much different. What made us different? What changed us? Through the year, the diverse elements of our class fused to become - ah, potential class-detention material?
