The squad compiled a 7-2 record, finishing in a tie for second place in the B.C.L. Football fortunes reached their crest in a dramatic 27-20 conquest of arch-rival Birmingham on Thanksgiving Day. Previous to this the squad had suf- fered their only losses, coming at the hands of Grosse Pointe and Fordson. Unanimous All-State honors went to half-back Darrel Harper, whose brilliant all around play sparked the team throughout the season.
