mgr. And the score goes up another notch . . . as the Oaks opened their season with Cooley of Detroit in our gym on Dec. 1. This year's basketball squad has four returning lettermen. The remainder oi the team consists of eight juniors and sophomores. The Oaks face a rugged fifteen game schedule: ten within the BCL and tive outside games. The heighth of our team will be a definite advantage as the BCL is one oi the toughest leagues in the state. Bob Sharp is the captain this year and is one of the returning lettermen along with Don Gmelin., Ed Purcilly, and Phil O'Brien. The latter two will graduate in January.
