Swimming Under their new coach Art Solow, the swim team, up to now, has won seven straight, beating Denby, Ann Arbor, Pontiac, Monroe, Hazel Park, Trenton and Wyandotte, to extend their unbeaten streak to 28 straight. The team has 18 returning lettermen and the tri-captains are Ken Frazier, Stan Newton and Jim Fredrick. Bottom row- Camry Johnson, Brandt Helser, Stan Newton, Ken Frazier, Royal Olsen, Butch Stock. Second row-Art Solow, coach, Bill Lowe, Terry Dowhan, Tom Schultz, Roy Van Zandt, Pete Eckel, Don Blackburn, Tom Law. Dancing the Charleston Girls Lit way are Donna Perkins, Yvonne Larime, Jeanette Wil- liams and Pat Nau, while Syl- via Dawkins, Marcella Mason and Shirley lVorden hide their faces. Lower left - VVho Me? says Dahn Bjorkman, as Mrs. Cross- man's history class points ac- cusing fingers. Lower right - Cooperate and graduate - is the theme of this math class as Mrs. Hoff- man tthe ruler? strikes a warning pose.

Front-ff C0-captains Sam DeMasci0 and Bob Sievers. Circlef Brian Harris. 'ross Country Royal Oalfs criss-country team won seven out of eight meets losing only to Pontiac, the state cham- pions. Brian Harris set a record every time he ran on the home course and set a record at Dearborn. He was beaten only once during the season. He finished ninth in the state out of 189 runners. Brian was elected eo-captain for 1952 along with Johnny Rapson. i W
