The New Year's just beginning But our school days are done, And though we're few in number We've had a lot of fun. The trials we knew as freshmen Have faded with the years. Our long-sought goal was finally reached - We were the MIGHTY seniors. Excitement for the senior trip was felt by everyone, And off we went to the gay decked ship intent on having fun. The first few hours were warm and bright, but then the wind did blow. The ship just rolled, tossed and turned so everyone went below. The storm grew worse . . . we were so sick, but heedless of it all The Dark Town Strutters Poker Club played on despite the squall We all survived Cllhank God lj and lived to see ' our graduation day.
