Fad, Fashion Set Style Many petficoats are practically the rule for girls everywhere in America these days. Sometimes, though, they make it rather difficult to get into a car as Dorothy Williams will tell you. Robert Taylor is amused as he watches Dorothy try to solve the problem. Ivy League styles have gone over big with Mil- ler students. Boys wear striped shirts and trousers with belted backs. Dresses made of striped fabric are popular with the girls. Charles Sadler, Marilyn Herold, and Janice ' Kutz show off their stylish clothes. 26

Royalty in Pep Rally Highiumping cheerleader, Exie McKamie, gets way off the ground at a send- off pep rally for our Bat- tlin' Bucs' trip to Browns- ville. On their way to Brownsville, Wayne Shaw, Senen Perez, James O'Neal, Robert Hanna, and Abdon Perez climb aboard t'Fancy Pants II . The Bucs brought home a 38-6 victory over the Golden Eagles. A highpoinf at our pep rallies was when Buccaneer Band twirlers, Bette Morrison, Barbara Baker, and F M D l ' ' aun c ona d performed. Their cute and catchy routines added extra spark to our pep rallies. 25

for Miller Students Carlos Chapa and Bobbie Berry show off a popular winter style, turtle-neck sweaters. A purple silk scarf adds a touch of color to Bobbie's sweater. Loyal Buc fans went all out to show their support for the team. Louise Kuehn's white car was perfect to display the purple and gold slogans. Car coats really come in handy when the strong breeze blows off the Gulf. Betty Vickers sports an unusual one made of imported feed sacks. Karolen Winters' white one goes with any color. As a change from west- ern garb on game day, some of the girls wear Bermuda shorts Je . an- ette Martin and Jane Sorrel add Tyrolean hats for the mountain climber look. 27
