'Ihe membership was composed of one elected mem- ber from each homeroom. This member attended meetings .i nd took back to his homeroom Phe ideas and suggestions that were made in student council meet' ings. A grade average of HB is necessary to remain on the council. The purpose of our student council is eIop goodxcifizenship within the student body. 'lo lieilp support the athletic teams, t uncil painted miles of posters and painted floors an alls with slogans. Members sold football programs and worked in the parking lot at games. Three hundred seniors were entertained at the banquet in the cafeteria and a dance in the gym on the night of th. Corinne Britt is servin stu- dent council sponsor for e first time this year.
