Row 4: Brady Har- per, David Barrett, Steven Babbitt. CHESS CLUB SUCCESSFUL . . . The Royal Chess Club has a very outstanding record. The club went undefeated in region match during the period 1972 to the spring of 1976. Their plans to be just as suc- cessful were accomplished. They participated in matches with the other schools in the region and in the state tour- nament in March. Much of the success of the chess club H was the guidance and persistence of their advisor, Dale Slade. The club officers this year were: David Barrett, Concentration is the major factor in a chess game. President: Richard Gour, Vice-President: Alan Nakayu, Parliamentariang Nancy Yamashita, Secretary.
