WINIFRED H. NASH To the Class of 1955: Greetings! This year book is a beautiful treasury of the interesting, exciting events that have filled the crowded days of your high school career. As you turn the pages in future years, you will recall vividly the joys land sometimes tribulations!j of your subject classes, the record-breaking suc- cess ofthe Senior Scholarship Play, the achievements of the Student Council, the Home and School Bazaar, Student Exchange, Careers Week, Induction Day, the Class Night ceremonies, the Senior Prom, and all the other activi- tieslin which you found pleasure as well as education of mind and heart and sou . Your teachers will remember pleasantly your warm-hearted friendli- ness, your quiet determination in reaching worthwhile goals, your cheerful cooperation, and your loyalty. All you have done for Mother Memorial has been appreciated and will be cherished after you have left the school. Here in our democracy at Memorial you have learned to live harmoni- ously with others. You have experienced the real meaning of brotherhood,- a feeling given significance and new beauty through the daily remembrance that you are Classmates Today-Neighbors Tomorrow. As children of God, made in His image and likeness, and as sisters in the great human fam- ily, each of you has now her own vitally important contribution to make toward building a better America,-and so, a better world.
