FACULTY ADVISER It IS altogether fnttmg and proper that one of the newer clubs should have new blood 1n IIS membershlp The Stamp and Com Club 15 composed almost entlrely of jumors and sophomores and yet one would not beheve thls fact were he to conslder the achlevements of the club In the pubhclty department there are few equals and no superlors to lt Exhlbxts by the members are ln l1bI'3l'1CS on school bulletm boards and ln several stamp contests The dxsplays are varled and of lnterest even to the non collector of stamps or coms One member exhxblted a col lectlon of envelopes that had come from all parts of the world bearmg censor marklngs Those envelopes or covers as they are called by stamp collectors brought the war home to many people Another dlsplay based on current events showed a map of the PHCIHC area and stamps from most of the countr1es mvolx ed ln the confhct At the meetuags tradmg IS always ln order Many b g deals are made across the tradxng table and many hard bargains are driven The members also gne talks about thelr hobbv and llsten to talks by others If th1s IS what Mem orlal IS com ng to we can leaxe wlth assurance that the school IS ln good hands The officers of the club are Presxdent John Murphy Secretary Robert W ebber Treasurer Elllot Machlt SLNIOR5 A XXOLI R NXFBBUK y vol A l'f liQ,1 A ' .
