Our band has the usual instru- mentation of brass, Woodwind and percussion, and unusual faculty for playing well. This year the band was under the direction of Mr. Ray VVhitehouse. The band is a military organization under strict discipline, which the boys will greatly appreciate in future years. It is, as in the past, one of the best schoolboy bands in the city. This band is the only one in the city that plays difhcult, brilliant compositions of the standard march rep- ertoire. The Roxbury Memorial High School CBOysD Band rehearses twice a week under Mr. Whitehouse and his assistants. The band played at the B. C. High football game and its main objectives this year, as in the past, are the competive drill and the Schoolboy Parade. FIRST ROW D. WATSON T. SILVERMAN v. DiSTEPHANO W. GERBER R. BRINKLOW A.
