Mr. Charles Rideout shows his ability as both a coach and animal trainer through the medium of his proteges. March 25 - Demosthenes Stirs in His Gravef' The finals of the Oratorical Contest are held tonight. Originality and significance of pieces as well as the eloquence of the orators are closely matched. The judges select Russell Werby winner. .E March Z7 - Resolved that Memorial's debating team meets the charming debators of Girls, it Latin and before a large audience, most of whom came to see the girls, quickly establishes its superiority, despite all efforts of the girls E to melt the judges. Cadets, after parading about the school building, pass EE 2? in review, and go into battalion formation on the campus. In true military style they render an impressive program in which homage -E if fi is paid to the dead. June 8 - Trampl Tramp! Tramp! The Boys are Marching Memorial, 1600 strong, makes a hne impression in tne annual school- boy parade. Seniors, now officem, strut their best today, much to Q5 the delight of their fair admirers who line 'the route of parade.
