EE March 7 - Regimentals. Today marks the finale of the indoor track season for Boston schools. 3 Memorial tries her best to dethrone English who has been a consist- ent winner for 15 years. Her efforts are almost successful, but by the margin of a few points we lose first place. .2 2 March 20-Dramatic Club Makes Debut. EE ii appearance of the year. Mr. Charles Rideout shows his ability as both a coach and animal trainer through the medium of his proteges. March 25 - Demosthenes Stirs in His Gravef' The finals of the Oratorical Contest are held tonight. Originality and significance of pieces as well as the eloquence of the orators are closely matched. The judges select Russell Werby winner. .E March Z7 - Resolved that Memorial's debating team meets the charming debators of Girls, it Latin and before a large audience, most of whom came to see the girls, quickly establishes its superiority, despite all efforts of the girls E to melt the judges. EE sg if May l - Competition Keen - Captains Nervous. E ors in the East Armory. All cannot win, but all put on splendid exhx- bitions. Honor Guard amazes all. May 13 - Class of '36 Destincd to be Great. - gl Such is the conclusion drawn by proud parents who attend class day 2 exercises and hear the class prophecy read. gi May 20 - f'Tommv,' 25 The annual scholarship play is presented tonight and a full house E ,E H- acclaims it a complete success. QE 52 Nfay Z2 - f'Music Coes Round and Round Eg 25 Lofty seniors find this to be so at the annual commencement dance. ii May 29- Cadets Pay Tribute to Dead Soldiers and Sailors of our 52 country. Cadets, after parading about the school building, pass EE 2? in review, and go into battalion formation on the campus. In true military style they render an impressive program in which homage -E if fi is paid to the dead. June 8 - Trampl Tramp! Tramp! The Boys are Marching Memorial, 1600 strong, makes a hne impression in tne annual school- boy parade. Seniors, now officem, strut their best today, much to Q5 the delight of their fair admirers who line 'the route of parade. June 25 - Farewell - Onwardv In the graduation exercises conducted in the school auditorium, is members of the famed class of '36 are presented with their hard :E earned diplomas. After receivingyour precious parchment, we stop to ponder and recall those happy hours spent together. Pellagrini to Colmes pass, showed the boys fought to very last. 13 - 4'Class Officers Electedf, In Presidential race Bennett Katz edges out John Carroll in a hard fought contest. Ben Lockhart is elected vice-president, Milt Feinberg, secretary-treasurer, Davis and Smith executive committee. 23 - '4Memorial Stars Honored. Green and Gold's gridiron representatives receive hard-earned letters. Coach Campbell and Captain Croatti, both inclined to be modest, are enthusiastically applauded and cheered. 22- uMemorial in Triangular Meet. hflemorial is a close second to English in the English and Commerce track contest. 27- Bostonian Greeted Enthusiasticallyf' The second issue of our school magazine appears today and is largest and best ever issued by any school. Great costs were entailed in the production of this 64 page 'cAll-Nlemorialw edition. 14 - Attention Producers and Managers.
