The varsity gridders achieved another winning season, npiling a 5-3-1 mark. lt was the fourth consecutive winning ir, all with Coach Barkman at the helm. The record over it four year span has been 25-10-1. The season was a disappointment at the outset. The Gaels at their opponents statistic-wise, but couldn't put enough nts on the scoreboard. They struggled to a 1-2-1 ledger, an reeled off four victories in their next five games, includ- gthe last three in a row over West Morris, Warren Hills, and Tufano Looks For Running Room F 'I i i ..... The Roxbury players were mentally epared for the game and the result was shocking - a 52-12 nquest over our long-time rival. Stars ofthe game were ny Zara, gaining 230 yard rushing, and Bob Thomas, inter- pting two passes and recovering a fumble.
