NAJCAA Womens Notionols ot JCCC nbeaten Ro lour and utchin on roll on l Roxbury Community College of Boston continued on its unbeaten streak with a 69 55 second round victory over Essex Community Coll egg last night in the National Womens Junior College Champion- ship The tourney. hosted by Johnson County Community College, is a summu meeting of twenty two of the top junior college womens teams from across the nation. At stake is undisputed claim of the number one ranking in the country. That will be decided this Saturday night at 9p.m. when the final round breaks loose. Tuesday night, Roxbury used the second half scoring touch of Carolyn Lewis. who scored a game high 23 points, to overcome Essex and a 32-26 halftime deficit. Lewis scored 18 of her total in the second half. Rokbttry came into the tournament wltha perfect 25-0 record and with the -ilictory last night, moved it to 27-0. They had previously whipped they University of North Dakota, Williston. in a first round game. Janet Flora of Essex led the Knights irf scoring with 12. Grace Cover followed with 10. Essex, from Hfalt-irnore. came into the tourney with a 22-3 record. ln other second round games Tuesday. undefeated Hutchinson had to come from behind to squeeze by Monroe Community College of Ro- chester, New York, to post a 51-47 victory in their afternoon game. Kathy Patterson and Jeanne Martin both tallied 14 points apiece to lead the Blue Dragons, now 240, to victory. Gov.
