Miss Shaylor has won our highest regard as a teacher, because of her helpfulness, discip- line, and conscientious interest in each student. We thank you. As you read your copy and this message, will you consider the fact that even though there are more people for jobs today and that in many areas and fields there are fewer jobs, there are still many opportunities for those who have the interest, initiative and ambition to work for them. In those areas of service such as social, medical, ministerial and teaching, there are many vacancies and numerous needs. I commend these areas to you since I feel that they are especially worth consideration because of the satisfaction one receives from helping his fellow man. These vocations are not always the most lucrative, but in the long run are often the most mean- ingful as one’s life work.
