In the spring we had a bakesale and a dance to earn money. As our Sgphgmgrg year started, most of the polish of high school had worn off. This year we settled down to doing our homework and earning money for our Senior Trip. Eileen Nesbitt represented us on the J.V. cheerleading squad. Mr. Vought was our homeroom advisor for a few weeks. who left us before Christmas when Mr. Parnell joined the year we lost several of He was followed by Mrs. Lutz us from Pennsylvania. During our members. We had two bakesales and two dances for which we all worked hard. The last week of school we ordered our class rings, something we had all looked forward to during the year. In our lggigr-year we were all very happy to have our class rings arrive by October Nth. ome of us were not so fortunate and had to order our rings again. Diane joined Eileen on the Junior Varsity cheerleading squad and they helped in cheering for Lawrence, Karl and Jim who played on the team. In November we had a Spaghetti supper. Mrs. Parnell and some of our parents helped to make it a huge success. In January Roger Stepanek Joined us from Edison Vocational High School in Jamaica, New York., In February we all began to look forward to the Junior Prom. After much debating we decided on as our theme. The Prom was another success and although we didn't make much money we all seemed to have fun. Julie Ives was our queen and Karl Shafer was our king. Diane and Andrew were attendants. Doris Fuller left our class to become Mrs. Gary DuMond and Esther Ballard left us to work. Exams came along and we took them once again, hoping to be Seniors in the fall. . In September, most of the old gang reported back as Seniors. We didn't have any new faces, in fact we had lost 2 members. Andrew German Joined the paratroopers and Eileen Nesbitt bacame Mrs. Lynn Jenkins. We soon found out that our Senior year was not going to be all play and no work. By the time our Senior Play came around on November H, we had all become pretty good salesmen. The yearbook was our next undertaking. Our project for Christmas was a dance on Dec- ember 28th with Ernie Russ providing the music. Now we have our Senior Trip to washington, D.C., and New York City to look forward to! By June we all hope to hear NPomp and Circumstancesn while we proudly march up to receive our diplomas. wa...
