DEDICATIO The Senior Class of 1952 wishes to dedicate this yearbook to MR. RIDGE, whose guidance during the past three years is greatly appreciated. He has been a good sport in all that we've planned and done. We also wish to dedicate our yearbook to MISS RICKARD, who guided us through our first years of school and has been a kind and helpful friend ever since. Last but not least, we wish to dedicate this yearbook to our Senior homeroom teacher. MIR. BRUNO is a good friend, who has lent us a helping hand in many ways. 1 2

EDITORIAL In June of this year, we, the graduating class of 1952, will pass from the doors of R.C.S., and some of us may never return. Some of us may travel far and wide to seek a higher education, and then a 1ife's fortune. Some of us may stay at home to work for.our parents, and still others will perhaps find a job somewhere in a surrounding community. No matter where we stray after those doors close behind us this June, we will be taking the leading role in the biggest show on the road. This role is bigger and better than any Shakespearean role, this one is life. Our parents have been preparing us to lead our own life since we were babies. Our teachers have been teaching us how to meet our future problems, since we were first in school. Teachers, parents, friends, and all our elders have been working hand in hand to help us to understand our world. ' Soon it will be our turn to tell other children what to expect, and how to face life after they are no longer dependent on someone else. Do we know how to face life by ourselves? will we fall in the track when we face our first real problem or our first failure? We have been taught to look at our world as though we were studying a history course in high school. At first it is difficult, but after profiting from a few mistakes of our own and others, we begin to understand it, If we don't try to read and understand a book, it is of no use to us. Our life in the future is the same as reading a book? if V011 don't know how to read it, it is not, at all beneficial. 3
