SEHIUHS UDDS HND ENDS CLASS POEH Here's to the class of '49! We deserve some recognition, For where in the world is another So fired with ambition? We keep the teachers on the run And classes in eonfue1on--- Any resemblance to peacefulness Is an optical illusion! Although there are only 12 of us We all have brains and poise, And if we ean't get by on these, We'll make it up with noise. We have good points, though, don Sometimes we're good as can be ---- Ab group 1 't forget--- But we hope the Seniors in years to come Will have as much fun as we! The soft glow from walls. A warmth filled oblivious of the biting windows. In one corner Lgve of gegrth the fireplace casts dancing shadows upon the with contentment and peace envelope the room, winter winds, begging admission at frosted stands a Christmas tree, beautiful beyond description - with lights, tinsel, and many colored balls, which sparkle happily as they catch a bit of firelight. Beneath its branc are many gaily wrapped gifts, waiting to be opened by recipients f11 with excitement and curiosity. Empty stockings hang above the fire- place awaiting the arrival of that bewhiskered little man loved by young and old allke. Below, in the fireplace, popcorn makes an lnsi ent tattoo of noise in the silence, as lt is prepared to be served with large, red apples and gay conversation. Who could ask for a better place than home on Christmas Eve 7 mmm. 751 16 hes led Bt- iiig 'V
