In the future we shall always be proud to sav we were guided through our most important years in school by Leon I Harx ev. CLASS ADVI OR TO THE FORTY-NINERS: My very best wishes and congratulations to each member of the graduating class. Almost six years ago you came to this school with a desire to learn, but facing a long road of uncertainty. You persevered and along with your formal education you learned many of the principles of life that will always be guiding lights on the uncertain seas of life. You were imbued with ideals, voiced and inculcated by men and women who understood your needs and wants. The influence of your high school days has left an everlasting impression in your minds. The time has now come when we must sever the relationship so closely established during your sojourn here. Each one will embark on his or her individual career in life. Across the path of the future will be strewn many obstacles, some serving as stepping stones to a higher planeqothers as stumbling blocks. Whatever we shall undertake, let us always bear in mind the fond memories and associations centered around our Alma Mater, ever- lastingly strengthened in some measure by the knowledge and principles we have learned here. May We all face the future as a new adventureg with determination, courage, kindness, courtesy and consideration and faith in God.

Our sincere friend and administrator, Dr. Luther F. Waidelich, whom we wish to thank very much for his kind help and guidance through these four years. OUR PRI CIPAL You are the members of the Twenty-fifth Anniversary Class. Frequently during this year, you have thought about the past history of our school. Now as you leave, we know that each one of you is concerned about the future. I hope your graduation in this historic year of our school will be a real challenge to your development in character and citizenship. Your school throughout these years has always stressed the development of good habits and good character. You were shown ideals of desirable human relationships. We hope you may always reflect these qualities in your lives. We shall count upon your devotion and loyalty to your Alma Mater. May the next quarter of a century in the history of this school be known as HTHE GOLDEN ERA. We hope your lives may be bright and happy during these coming days.
