 On behalf of the 1985 ROX Staff, we wish to dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Goode for her years of dedication and loyalty to the students of Roxana High School. Mrs. Goode was born in Wood River to the parents of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hardesty. She went to school and graduated from Roxana High. She then went to Southern Illinois University. Edwardsville. and received her bachelor’s degree in English and journalism. After receiving her bachelor's degree. Mrs. Goode returned to S.I.U.E. and received her Master's degree in theatre. Mrs. Goode has three daughters) Vicky, Julie, and Kathy: and also has six grandchildren - three of the six grandchildren are triplets. Mrs. Goode, known to her grandchildren as Grandma Kitty,” enjoys being with her girls and grandchildren. Through the years. Mrs. Goode has become interested in many hobbies. Mrs. Goode enjoys collecting ceramic cats, going to the theatre in London, and directing plays. PMrs. Goode is very active here at Roxana. As many know, she is the advisor of the ROX. director of the plays and musicals, advisor to the Thespians, and advisor to the maids at the coronation. The faculty, staff, and students appreciate all your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Goodes and it is with sincere thanks and pride that we dedicate the 1985 ROX to you.
