The foreign language department not only teaches the language, but helps the student toward a better understanding of the people w ho speak that language, their culture, and country. The bands played at many of the school’s primary' functions and the chorus also performed at quite a number of them. Mr. Leroy Dalhaus was music coordinator, Mr. Dan Jones band director, and Mr. Max Syfert chorus director.
