NO HOME COURT Because there was no home court during volleyball season, the volleyball team had to practice on the Quad and play the entire season away. However, they overcame these hardships and made it to the playoffs. Prior to the regular season the team played in the El Camino and La Puente tournaments. They made the consolation finals in the La Puente Tournament. During the league season their record was 8 wins and 7 losses. They placed third in CIF playoffs, but lost three straight to Louisville, the CIF Champions. Barrie Ebenkamp was named to the All League 1st. team, while Cindy Morrell and Debra Gruner were named to All League 2nd. team. Most Valuable Player award went to Cindy Morrell and Barrie Ebenkamp. The Coaches award went to Linda Barajas, and Connie Peregretti was named Most Improved. Coach Stewart stated: With only two seniors on the team this year, next year should be great. 78 Volleyball
