Through the news we experienced the brutal and the horrible and the won- drous and the beautiful. The assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat convinced many that the world had gone mad. yet others knew that love could conquer all when Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer were wed. While many questions were answered by the pictures of Saturn and its rings by Voy- ager II. many questions were raised by President Reagan ' s economic plan. The swing of events, like the pendulum on a clock, placed pieces down into history. These made up our world.
