MANY UNEXPECTED CHANGES This year ' s football season brought many unexpected changes. While the returning coaching staff led the team through the first part of the season, the last three games were led by a new coaching staff. Coach Killingsworth was requested to resign due to several irregularities in following CIF rules and regulations. To express indignation over the requested resignation, coaches Bet- tar, Olay and Drake also resigned. Brad Manning, however, felt that the team deserved better treatment and elected to stay on and coach the remainder of the season. Coach Manning stated that even though the team lost all league games, they still had class. Their handling of problems both on and off the field was praise worthy. They played with a Never Say Die attitude and held on to the Raider Spirit in the face of great odds. It was a pleasure to work with this team, because their team spirit and pride is what athletics is all about.
