FROLIC AT HALLOWEEN Halloween was celebrated Friday, Oct. 30 at Rowland this year. A costume contest was put on by A.S.B. at lunch time, and the judges were Mr. Aney, Mr. Robinson, and Mr. Mathers. Prizes were given to the best dressed teacher and the best dressed student. The competition was fierce as participation was at an all time high. Mr. Gullet was dressed as a sheik with a harem of four exotic looking girls. The sheik and his harem won the teachers prize; it was a plastic pumpkin filled with candy. The winners of the student prize were Mark Van Patten and his friend Mark Guzman. They were dressed in red and black cloaks with skeleton masks. They won a large bag of halloween candy. All of the students enjoyed the fun and frolic at hallow- een this year. I.
