k. THEY WORK TOGETHER A new advisor and a new method of choosing the pep squads came into being this year. This year the girls were chosen by panels of teachers who judged the girls on poise, routines, and spirit. This method of judging led to a more representative squad than in previous years, the new advisor. Vera Benoit, has also instigated many changes. The rules governing the squads are more strict, which has improved the attitudes of the girls. Also the squads feel they work together better than before. Altogether the changes have brought a more positive attitude by both the girls and the school as a whole. Pep 243
